Director of Product, Crypto at Proof

About the Role

We are looking for a Director of Product, Crypto to own the strategy, vision, and execution of our product portfolio for the crypto use case. This role involves defining how Proof brings trust, identity, and secure transactions to the crypto ecosystem while partnering with stablecoin issuers, exchanges, payment processors, and Web3 innovators. It requires deep crypto expertise, strong product intuition, and the ability to shape a new category from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

• →Own product strategy and define long-term vision for identity, authentication, and trust in crypto and payments ecosystems
• →Lead customer and partner conversations with stablecoin issuers, exchanges, payment companies, compliance organizations, and Web3 platforms
• →Drive early product-market discovery to identify value across stablecoin rails, travel rule compliance, AML/KYC workflows, digital identity, verifiable credentials, and agentic commerce
• →Build deep expertise at the intersection of identity, device intelligence, authentication, and crypto to influence engineering direction
• →Develop clear product roadmaps, define success metrics, and present strategy to senior leadership, customers, and partners
• →Make high-judgment decisions in ambiguous environments by synthesizing data, customer feedback, and industry signals
• →Partner with engineering to write specs, manage sprints, troubleshoot issues, and guide execution of complex technical projects
• →Build relationships across the crypto ecosystem and represent Proof at conferences, customer sessions, and industry events
• →Work with Solutions, Customer Success, Sales, and Marketing to align on positioning, drive adoption, and support early use cases
• →Support creation of new business models, partnerships, and technical integrations related to crypto and payments
• →Guide and mentor other product managers
