Product Manager (Credit Card) at prosper

Your role in our mission The Product Manager is responsible for the strategy, product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle, including: defining the product vision, gathering and prioritizing product requirements, and working closely with engineering, design, marketing, and operations to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. How you'll make an impact • Partner with product leadership to build a vision, strategy, and multi-year product roadmap • Break vision into phases, prioritize and drive backlogs for launch with your dedicated engineering teams • Develop a deep understanding of our customers’ & partners’ problems • Use data and analysis to drive your understanding of customers and to build and iterate on products • Drive disruptive innovative solutions in a customer-centric environment • Establish product delivery timelines in close collaboration with the development team, leading in a fast-paced agile environment • Work with internal stakeholders from technology, marketing, legal, operations, and executive management to translate business needs into product requirements • Work with a distributed team of designers, researchers, engineers, testers and subject matter experts to scope, design, test and build new products and product features • Monitor and understand the key metrics governing your product area, with an eye toward continuously improving them through ongoing product innovation • Work with engineering and data science to analyze data and conduct experiments (A/B tests) in order to optimize the product in pursuit of an improved customer experience and business metrics • Lead and resolve questions and conflicts across organizational stakeholders, keeping stakeholders updated on project progress and trade-offs Skills that will help you thrive • 3-5 years of relevant product management experience, financial services and credit card product experience is a plus • Bachelor’s degree is required • Demonstrated success defining and launching excellent consumer facing products • Ability to keep in mind the strategic big picture while maintaining a grasp on the details of your product • Proven ability to dive deeply into specific functional areas and learn a domain • Proven ability to innovate and come up with ideas to help drive the product forward • Proven ability to understand the business and engineering sides and get into technical detail • Ability to assume a strong sense of responsibility and ownership in a fast-paced environment • Excellent project management skills - delivery and action oriented with the ability to handle changing tasks, priorities, and adapt quickly • Superior communication skills, able to adapt style and collaborate well with diverse stakeholders and team members What we offer • The opportunity to collaborate with a team of creative, fun, and driven colleagues on products that have an immediate and significant impact on people's lives • The opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with experienced industry leaders • Flexible time off, comprehensive health coverage, competitive salary, paid parental leave • Wellness benefits including access to mental health resources, virtual HIIT and yoga workouts • A bevy of other perks including Udemy access, childcare assistance, pet insurance discounts, legal assistance, and additional discounts #LI-RC1 About Us Founded in 2005 as the first peer-to-peer marketplace lending platform in the U.S., Prosper was built on a simple idea: connect people who want to borrow money with those who want to invest.
