About the Role
We are looking for a Solution Engineer to join our team at Protegrity. This role focuses on defining, designing, and delivering tailored data protection solutions for enterprise customers.
Key Responsibilities
- →Conduct in-depth discovery, data-flow mapping, and documentation of customer environments
- →Deliver compelling technical presentations and product demonstrations to a wide range of stakeholders
- →Lead and manage Proof-of-Concepts (POCs) and participate in RFI/RFP responses
- →Architect, install, and configure Protegrity’s software solutions tailored to customer needs
- →Write detailed solution design and project planning documents
- →Collaborate with internal sales teams, partners, and professional services
- →Provide ongoing mentorship and guidance to other Solution Engineers and Services personnel
- →Regularly leverage cloud labs (AWS, Azure, GCP) to validate capabilities
- →Commit to continuous learning through certifications and staying current on data privacy and cybersecurity trends
- →Maintain accurate records in CRM and other presales applications
Requirements
- ✓Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience (e.g., 4+ years in a similar technical role)
- ✓8+ years of experience in technical solution engineering, consulting, or presales roles
- ✓Demonstrated success leading technical engagements in complex enterprise environments
- ✓Solid understanding of enterprise architecture, cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP), and hybrid deployments
- ✓Excellent communication, presentation, and documentation skills
- ✓Experience working directly with customers, including C-level discussions and technical stakeholders
- ✓Strong organizational skills with a consultative mindset and business outcome orientation
- ✓Adaptability and a strong willingness to learn and adopt emerging technologies
