About the Role

We are looking for a Quality Engineer to join the FlashBlade team in Bangalore. This role focuses on defining, building, and maintaining a suite of tests to ensure FlashBlade for Enterprise Readiness with the highest quality.

Key Responsibilities

→Perform customer use case driven System Testing for FlashBlade
→Collaborate with stakeholders to validate test environments against customer use cases
→Own and drive testing to completion, including building test plans, test cases, and automation
→Work with Dev/PM, Support, and Escalation teams to reproduce and root cause customer issues
→Be a voice for FlashBlade Systems Quality with a focus on Customer First

Requirements

✓Hands-on experience in software testing and test automation, preferably in an enterprise storage product environment
✓Experience working closely with flash storage
✓Good knowledge of file systems, file system protocols, and data replication
✓Strong Automation skills, familiarity with automation tooling like pytest
✓Understanding of how end customers use/deploy Storage Systems
✓Familiarity with application ecosystems and directory services
✓Experience in related system software projects
✓Ability to deploy and use 3rd party IO tools to simulate test workloads
✓Competency in authoring detailed test plans
✓Experience in development and testing of RESTful web services and backend APIs
✓5+ years relevant work experience
