As our only People Partner, you will report to the VP People and bring to life our People & Culture agenda across the office and labs - delivering the key projects needed to scale our culture and retain our talent as we continue in a phase of hypergrowth. You bring empathy, structure, ownership, and calm execution in a fast-moving scale-up environment.
You will work closely with the rest of the People team, finance, line managers and the rest of our 75+ employees. We have scientists in labs and commercial teams in the office, all based in Delft (opposite the TUDelft campus). To be successful in this role you need to have strong communication and social skills to build trust with the stakeholders from 25+ nationalities ages 20 to 60+ and a very wide range of educational backgrounds.
You bring flexibility, speed, and eagerness to find solutions with a pragmatic and resourceful approach. You enjoy dealing with ambiguity and ensuring People topics are handled with care, compliance and consistency.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Support our managers on topics such as performance management, onboarding, feedback skills, sickness absence management, gender inclusion.
- Own the people-manager community, building their peer learning and collective capability.
- Proactively identify opportunities to strengthen and scale our culture, then design and deliver initiatives that harness the opportunity.
- Prepare the organisation for upcoming labour law regulation changes, eg EU Pay Transparency.
- Leverage Personioβs analytical capability to generate and review People KPIs.
- Step in as administrative back up for our People & Culture coordinator when she is out (contract preparation, Personio data management, etc).
- Run recurring compensation processes such as bonus cycles and incentive administration where applicable.
YOUR PROFILE

- 3-5 years experience of HR in a scale up environment
- Working knowledge of Dutch labour law and comfort in advising managers in a compliant manner
- Eagerness to learn and get things done with quality and speed, in a very diverse and dynamic environment.
- Strong team player, great organizational skills and high attention to detail.
- Confident working with HR systems and improving processes.
- You are naturally approachable, positive, friendly and able to build strong working relationships across the wider company, not just process driven, but people driven.
- Excellent communication skills in English. Dutch is a plus.
