About the Role
Quartermaster AI is seeking an accomplished Product Manager to lead the development and strategy for our core maritime domain awareness web application and data products, targeting government and defense sector customers. This role requires a deep understanding of defense operations and user-centric research.
Key Responsibilities
- →Define web product strategy and roadmap for the web application and data products
- →Implement strategies to increase Daily Active Users (DAU) and overall product engagement
- →Develop an expert-level understanding of end-user workflows to identify critical pain points
- →Drive concept development for mission-critical features and products
- →Author clear, detailed product requirements and user stories
- →Collaborate with growth, UI/UX, and technical teams to align priorities
Requirements
- ✓7+ years of Product Management experience, preferably focused on SaaS, web applications, or data/analytics products
- ✓Direct experience conducting product research with government, defense, or national security customers
- ✓Proven track record of increasing key user engagement metrics
- ✓Deep understanding of operational environments within Navy, maritime, or defense organizations
- ✓Demonstrated ability to develop a product that became a "must-have" tool for a specific user base
- ✓Excellent communication skills, particularly presenting complex topics to stakeholders
- ✓Experience managing products through an agile development lifecycle
