About the Role
We are looking for a GCP Cloud Architect to join our professional services delivery team. This role involves working directly with customers to build scalable applications, create robust solution designs, and enable innovation through continuous delivery across technology stacks.
Key Responsibilities
- →Serve as the technical liaison between customers and engineering resources
- →Provide tactical scope and work with business representatives to understand solution requirements
- →Communicate effectively with both business and technical colleagues throughout projects
- →Ensure all critical project aspects are addressed and nothing is overlooked
- →Educate customers on the value of Google Cloud Platform and help them transition to the cloud
- →Enable a DevOps culture and modernize operations and release strategies
- →Build impactful relationships with customers to turn them into cloud advocates
- →Participate in deep architectural discussions to ensure customer success with GCP applications
- →Conduct hands-on education/training sessions to transfer GCP knowledge to customers
Requirements
- ✓5+ years of design and implementation experience with distributed applications
- ✓5+ years of experience in networking, infrastructure, or database architectures
- ✓In-depth understanding and professional experience with GCP services and infrastructure
- ✓Hands-on experience with Automation, Infrastructure as Code, and DevOps practices
- ✓Demonstrated knowledge of software development tools and methodologies
- ✓Excellent presentation skills for speaking with executives, IT management, and developers
- ✓Strong communication skills with ability to adapt conversations to different audiences
- ✓Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly
- ✓5+ years of customer-facing software/technology or consulting experience (nice to have)
- ✓3+ years of experience with on-premises to cloud migrations or IT transformations (nice to have)
- ✓3+ years of experience architecting/operating solutions on GCP, AWS, or Azure (nice to have)
- ✓Technical degree in Computer Science or related field (nice to have)
- ✓Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect certification or other Google Cloud certifications (nice to have)
