About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Internal IT Infrastructure Engineer to join our UK Sovereign Cloud team. This role focuses on maintaining, supporting, and evolving the internal infrastructure that underpins our secure, sovereign cloud environment.
Key Responsibilities
- →Maintain, monitor, and optimise internal IT infrastructure
- →Troubleshoot and resolve incidents across servers, storage, networking, virtualisation, and cloud-adjacent systems
- →Perform routine maintenance, patching, upgrades, and configuration changes in line with security and compliance requirements
- →Ensure high availability and resilience of internal systems through proactive monitoring and capacity planning
- →Creation of automation to ensure repeatable tasks are optimised
Requirements
- ✓Windows (must have)
- ✓Linux (must have)
- ✓Bigfix or similar (must have)
- ✓Solarwinds or similar (must have)
- ✓IT Security (must have)
- ✓Qualys or similar (must have)
- ✓Virtualisation (must have)
- ✓Must be able to pass an SC Security Check (UK Based, Passport holder 5+ yrs minimum)
- ✓Potentially willing to pass a DV security check in the future
- ✓Any experience of the UK Public Sector would be an advantage
