About the Role

We are seeking an Azure Solution Architect with extensive experience in designing, implementing, and modernizing enterprise-grade cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure. This role combines deep technical expertise in cloud infrastructure, networking, DevOps, containers, and security with leadership in architectural planning, stakeholder engagement, and execution of large-scale migration and modernization projects.

Key Responsibilities

→Design scalable, secure, and resilient solutions on Microsoft Azure aligned with the Azure Well-Architected Framework
→Lead cloud readiness assessments, application modernization planning, and on-prem to cloud migration initiatives
→Develop high-level and low-level architecture designs covering compute, storage, networking, identity, backup/DR, and monitoring
→Architect complex Azure networking solutions with focus on hybrid connectivity, security, and cross-tenant designs
→Drive architecture discussions around scalability, high availability, disaster recovery, compliance, and performance
→Lead implementation of advanced Azure Active Directory Premium features for security and governance
→Architect and provision Azure Kubernetes Service clusters with integration to other Azure services
→Provide end-to-end system design for critical platforms like core banking systems
→Guide DevOps strategy and CI/CD implementations using tools like GitHub Actions
→Develop and present Total Cost of Ownership models and migration cost estimations
→Serve as single point of contact for assigned resources and ensure smooth delivery
→Identify and resolve system vulnerabilities, inefficiencies, and misconfigurations

Requirements

✓12+ years of professional IT experience with strong focus on cloud architecture and solution delivery
✓10+ years working with Microsoft Azure designing and implementing production-grade workloads
✓Proven expertise in Azure IaaS, PaaS, networking, and security services
✓Strong experience with Azure networking concepts, hybrid connectivity, firewalls, and cross-tenant design
✓Experience with Kubernetes (AKS), containers, and Azure App Services
✓Knowledge of Azure Active Directory including Premium features
✓Experience with DevOps methodologies and CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions
✓Understanding of Identity & Access Management, policy, governance, and compliance
✓Strong experience conducting assessments and leading large-scale migrations
✓Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills
✓Effective leadership and collaboration capabilities in cross-functional environments
✓Relevant Azure certifications preferred
✓Strong background in infrastructure and networking preferred
✓Experience in Agile/DevOps environments and collaborative tools like JIRA and Confluence preferred
✓Experience in core banking or regulated domains is a plus
