About the Role
We are looking for a Middle/Senior DevOps Engineer to join our product team at Recorded Future. This role involves taking ownership of infrastructure and deployment pipelines, contributing to the architecture of scalable systems, and driving the integration of new features and external services.
Key Responsibilities
- βMaintain and optimize a Kubernetes-based infrastructure, focusing on reliability, scalability, and performance
- βManage infrastructure as code using Terraform, Terragrunt, Helm, and Ansible
- βOperate and evolve GitOps-based CI/CD pipelines using FluxCD, ensuring smooth, automated delivery processes
- βMonitor infrastructure and services in a GCP-first environment, with select workloads in AWS
- βCollaborate with developers to improve workflows, automate deployments, and align infrastructure with product needs
- βInvestigate and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues, implementing sustainable fixes and improving system resilience
- βLog work accurately and consistently across Jira and self-hosted GitLab, supporting agile workflows and team visibility
- βDocument infrastructure components, CI/CD flows, and operational practices in a clear and organized way
- βParticipate in on-call rotations and incident response, helping ensure system uptime and continuous improvement
- βAdvocate for best practices in DevOps, including automation, security, observability, and operational excellence
- βCommunicate effectively and work collaboratively within a distributed, cross-functional team
Requirements
- βExperience with Linux, containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), shell scripting, and Python
- βKnowledge of networking (routing) and firewall
- βExperience with middleware: GitLab CE + CI/CD, Grafana, Prometheus, Tekton, FluxCD, SQL/NoSQL
- βExperience with Terraform/Terraform
- βCloud experience with GCP/AWS
- βA Bachelorβs Degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
