About the Role
Redhorse Corporation is seeking a Senior Software Developer to lead the evolution of the DOJ National Classified Services (NCS) application stack. This role involves leading the major re-development of custom applications vital to national security, implementing Agile methodologies, and building robust CI/CD pipelines within a DevSecOps framework.
Key Responsibilities
- βLead the development, maintenance, and major architectural re-development of custom applications within the DOJ NCS application stack.
- βImplement and manage CI/CD pipelines for rapid and secure software deployment across classified environments.
- βDrive the transition to DevSecOps frameworks, ensuring security integration at every stage of development.
- βManage the full SDLC, translating high-level requirements into actionable user stories and technical tasks.
- βDevelop comprehensive design artifacts, including wireframes and technical documentation.
- βPerform secure software programming to mitigate insider threats and ensure compliance with Section 508 accessibility standards.
- βProvide Tier 2 application support to resolve complex technical issues for end-users.
- βCollaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize application performance and security posture.
Requirements
- βActive Top Secret (TS) security clearance with SCI eligibility (DOJ Adjudicated).
- β8+ years of experience in software development with a focus on custom-built applications.
- βExpertise in the Microsoft technology stack, including C# and .NET.
- βProven experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines in a DevSecOps environment.
- βDeep proficiency in Agile development methodologies and leading Scrum-based teams.
- βExtensive experience with version control and collaboration tools such as TFS and Azure DevOps.
- βDemonstrated ability to produce high-quality technical documentation and UI/UX wireframes.
- βOn-site presence in the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan Area (145 N St. NE, OCDETF, DOJ ERF, or RFK Main Justice Building).
