About the Role
The Electrical Test Engineering team at Reflect Orbital is responsible for validating avionics systems for space applications. This role involves designing test systems and writing automated software for production and qualification testing.
Key Responsibilities
- →Design test systems for avionics PCBAs and other components
- →Write test software for automated acceptance testing of PCBAs
- →Design acceptance test protocols and ensure proper test coverage
- →Prototype and iterate rapidly
Requirements
- ✓Experience designing test systems for electrical and avionics systems in spaceflight applications
- ✓Experience writing Python for hardware test peripherals like power supplies, electronic loads, DAQs
- ✓Ability to create both scrappy solutions and complex, high-quality solutions
- ✓Careful attention to ensuring electronics are tested properly before space deployment
- ✓Capable of working independently while knowing when to seek experience
