About the Role
We are looking for a Software Systems Engineer to join Relativity Space, a company building rockets for today's needs and tomorrow's breakthroughs. This role focuses on ensuring robust, well-integrated, and rigorously tested software systems that support vehicle operations.
Key Responsibilities
- →Own and drive software system-level design verification and validation activities
- →Develop manuals, documentation, and data dashboards for monitoring software systems health
- →Define and build processes around software configuration and change management
- →Coordinate software readiness reviews for test and launch operations
- →Support test and launch activities including integration, anomaly investigations, and on-console support
Requirements
- ✓Undergraduate or graduate degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- ✓2+ years of experience in software systems design/analysis or systems engineering
- ✓Familiarity with software development and test/verification concepts
- ✓Familiarity with Python, GitLab/Git, CI/CD
- ✓25-50% travel to Stennis and Cape Canaveral sites
- ✓Demonstrated problem-solving and communication skills
