About the Role
We are looking for a Director of Business Operations to join Relay, a digital banking platform for self-made business owners. You'll help build and scale our Risk ops, Customer Success Ops, and Product Ops teams, partnering with various departments to streamline processes and deliver actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities
- →Leverage analytics to identify trends and operational opportunities
- →Oversee core operating processes and analytics across Biz Ops–owned functions
- →Build and maintain the operational tech stack for Risk, Customer Success, and Product teams
- →Develop and optimize processes to drive alignment across operations teams
- →Build a quarterly Biz Ops roadmap and update stakeholders on progress
- →Implement data quality controls to ensure accurate and reliable data
- →Lead, manage, and mentor a high-performing operations team
- →Partner with functional leaders to design strategies that improve execution and efficiency
- →Design and scale strategies that increase productivity and automate workflows
Requirements
- ✓8 to 12+ years of experience in Business Operations, Strategy, or related function in a high-growth tech or fintech environment
- ✓At least 3 years leading managers
- ✓Proven track record of building and scaling multi-functional operations teams
- ✓Experience with company-level operating cadences and cross-functional execution
- ✓Deep experience designing and optimizing end-to-end processes
- ✓Strong analytical foundation with hands-on experience using data to drive decisions
- ✓Experience with operational tech stacks and automation
- ✓History of implementing data governance standards
- ✓Ability to operate at both strategic and tactical levels
- ✓Strong cross-functional leadership skills
- ✓Experience in a regulated or compliance-sensitive environment
- ✓Evidence of building high-performance teams
