About the Role
We are looking for a Frontend Engineer to join our remote-first team at Remote. This role involves building tools, APIs, and integrations for our products, working with technologies like React, Next.js, and Elixir.
Key Responsibilities
- →Lead the development of major team-scoped projects and participate in cross-team initiatives
- →Provide feedback and suggest solutions to product problems
- →Use technical insights to suggest product and technical improvements
- →Implement interfaces with high quality standards
- →Provide meaningful feedback on code reviews
- →Participate in support rotations, hiring process, and RFC discussions
- →Mentor and guide other engineers
Requirements
- ✓Previous experience working as a Frontend Engineer/Developer
- ✓Solid understanding of Javascript ES6
- ✓Proficiency with React
- ✓Experience with Jest and React Testing Library or Enzyme
- ✓Ability to deal with ambiguity and turn abstract concepts into working software
- ✓Interest in building scalable, performant web experiences
- ✓Experience with large front-end applications
- ✓Attention to detail for accessible and delightful experiences
- ✓Strong ability to work independently
- ✓Fluency in English
- ✓Experience working remotely is a plus
