ABOUT THE ROLE
Render has a product that developers love and rely on to deploy production-grade software, from complex AI agents to global ecommerce platforms. We’ve grown to support over 5 million developers through a primarily self-serve, product-led motion.
We are seeking an exceptional Product Marketing Manager to amplify this story and accelerate our PLG motion through compelling product narratives. This role sits at the intersection of product, growth, and marketing. You’ll help articulate why fast-growing teams choose Render for their core infrastructure, and you’ll own initiatives to drive self-serve customer acquisition and expansion through storytelling.
This is a remote role within the US, with the option to work out of our headquarters in San Francisco.
YOU WILL:
Drive product launches
- Partner with product, engineering, and marketing to distill technical features into clear, compelling, and differentiated messaging that inspires developers to build on Render.
- Lead product launches from strategy to execution to drive impact beyond impressions.
- Partner with Developer Experience teams to craft high-quality, audience-specific content – blogs, videos, case studies, demos, landing pages, and more – that supports GTM initiatives.
- Partner with Growth and Ops teams to build intelligent customer marketing programs that drive product adoption.
- Stay on top of industry trends, competitors, and customer needs to inform product strategy, refine messaging, and develop content strategies.
- Be the voice of the customer. Build relationships with Render's customers to understand their unique needs, pain points, and aspirations—champion customer-centricity throughout the organization, influencing strategy with insights and pulse of the customer and the market.

WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
- 4+ years in Product Marketing, owning product launches for technical products from end to end.
- You love working on technical products and can translate technical concepts into compelling messaging for developers.
- Strong writer and verbal communicator. You naturally use the tone and level of technical depth that resonates with your audience.
- You enjoy building relationships with technical teams and customers, and you deeply understand their pain points and motivations.
- You integrate AI into your workflows to simultaneously increase your speed of execution and the level of craft in your work.
- Prioritize, strategize, and execute quickly. When there are infinite things you could do, you know where to point your energy and how to drive cross-functional alignment.

NICE-TO-HAVES:
- 2+ years experience working in a small to mid-sized startup.
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, a related field, or equivalent professional experience is preferred.
- Data-driven approach to your work, customer research and other internal, external oriented insights.
