About the Role
We are looking for a Principal Router Architect to define the backbone of next-generation Zonal and Central Compute Automotive architectures. This role focuses on architecting high-bandwidth, ultra-reliable Ethernet Routing Engines and PCIe subsystems for Autonomous Driving (AD) and Cockpit controllers.
Key Responsibilities
- →Architect L2/L3 switch fabrics supporting Time-Sensitive Networking (TSN) standards to ensure deterministic latency for safety-critical traffic.
- →Define PCIe Gen 5/6 integration for high-speed chip-to-chip connectivity between SoCs, AI accelerators, and storage.
- →Integrate hardware safety mechanisms to meet ASIL-B/D requirements within the routing engine and bus fabrics.
- →Design the interface between Ethernet/PCIe controllers and internal NoC/CHI fabrics for efficient data movement.
- →Architect hardware-assisted isolation and Secure On-board Communication to protect the vehicle network from cyber threats.
- →Define robust clock, reset, and power management schemes for automotive thermal profiles.
Requirements
- ✓10 to 15 years of experience in router architecture.
- ✓Expertise in automotive Ethernet routing and PCIe subsystems.
- ✓Knowledge of Time-Sensitive Networking (TSN) standards.
- ✓Experience with Functional Safety (ISO 26262) and ASIL-B/D requirements.
- ✓Understanding of NoC/CHI fabrics and virtualization technologies.
- ✓Familiarity with Secure On-board Communication (SecOC) and cybersecurity principles.
- ✓Strong background in clock, reset, and power management schemes.
