About the Role
We are seeking a Hardware Application Engineer to work with DC-DC converters in server, telecom, and industrial applications. This role involves subsystem-level validation and collaboration with various engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
- →Collaborate with product line system, design and validation engineers to develop evaluation board validation plans
- →Design and develop test hardware for high-current buck converter validation
- →Create and maintain test automation scripts for PMBus telemetry and control
- →Debug and resolve hardware, firmware, and silicon issues related to switching and linear converters
- →Interact with internal marketing/sales teams and customers for support on existing and new products
- →Develop application notes, calculators and reference designs for server and telecom power architectures
- →Perform efficiency, thermal, transient response & other electrical characterization
Requirements
- ✓Experience with DC-DC converters and power electronics
- ✓Knowledge of validation processes and test automation
- ✓Understanding of PMBus telemetry and control
- ✓Ability to debug hardware, firmware, and silicon issues
- ✓Familiarity with server and telecom power architectures
