About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated Vulnerability Researcher to join our Cyber Security team at Research Innovations, Inc. (RII). This role involves solving unique and challenging problems for our Defense and Homeland Security customers, requiring deep technical expertise in vulnerability research, reverse engineering, and exploit mitigations/bypasses.

Key Responsibilities

→Conduct in-depth reverse engineering and vulnerability analysis across various architectures and platforms
→Research and analyze operating system and application internals to identify security strengths and weaknesses
→Develop and enhance functionality by adding features to undocumented interfaces
→Model and analyze in-memory compiled application behavior to identify potential vulnerabilities
→Develop and understand mobile/embedded systems and kernel modules related to vulnerability research
→Participate in our Vulnerability Research mentorship program, sharing knowledge and collaborating with colleagues

Requirements

✓Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility
✓Proficient understanding of wireless networking and associated security protocols
✓Strong grasp of legacy exploit mitigations and bypass techniques
✓In-depth knowledge of security and network fundamentals
✓Programming experience with Python3 and C
✓Familiarity with low-level architectures such as x86, ARM, or MIPS
✓Experience with operating system internals and implementations
✓Excellent communication skills
