The Instructional Video Designer creates engaging instructional video content that supports client adoption and advances learning and certification strategy. This role combines creative visual storytelling with instructional expertise to transform complex product concepts into compelling learning experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- →Design and create custom instructional videos
- →Create content videos including animations and motion graphics
- →Develop and package SCORM-compliant curriculum
- →Create scripts, narration, and on-screen text that simplify complex concepts
- →Collaborate with instructional designers on storyboards
- →Scope and manage multiple concurrent projects
- →Organize and manage project assets
- →Maintain project visibility through milestone updates
- →Manage AI-assisted workflows
- →Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure quality deliverables
Requirements
- ✓2+ years of experience in video editing, motion design, or instructional media creation
- ✓Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, Camtasia, and animation tools
- ✓Ability to create instructional scripts, media assets, and visual narratives
- ✓Familiarity with LMS platforms and SCORM-compliant packaging
- ✓Strong project management and organizational skills
- ✓Excellent collaboration and communication skills
- ✓Ability to leverage AI workflows for production efficiency
