<p> <strong>TEMPORARY TV TRAFFIC MANAGER </strong></p>
<p>Independent agency based in Los Angeles is looking to fill a temp role for a TV Traffic Manager. </p>
<p>This role is ideal for someone with strong broadcast media operations experience who thrives on precision, organization, and ensuring television campaigns execute flawlessly. You are comfortable managing broadcast traffic logs, coordinating commercial delivery and clearance, and ensuring campaigns run exactly as planned across networks and stations. You enjoy working at the intersection of media planning, operations, and campaign execution and are energized by fast-moving campaigns that require constant monitoring and adjustment. </p>
<p>This role does not include direct reports and requires someone who is comfortable working independently while supporting senior leadership, collaborating closely with Media Operations, and partnering with media planning, buying, and client teams. </p>
<p>TV Traffic Managers are empowered to take ownership of campaign execution, contribute operational insights, and play a critical role in ensuring that television campaigns are delivered accurately, compliantly, and efficiently. You will work closely with media planners, buyers, and creative partners in a nimble, independent agency environment that values curiosity, accountability, and forward thinking. </p>
<p><strong>What You Will Do </strong></p>
<p><strong>Broadcast Traffic & Scheduling </strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Build and maintain broadcast traffic logs across television campaigns, ensuring all commercial inventory and promotional assets are scheduled accurately. </li>
<li>Coordinate commercial placement within programming schedules according to media plans, programming clocks, and station/network requirements. </li>
<li>Manage day-to-day updates to broadcast logs, including schedule changes, creative rotations, and campaign adjustments. </li>
<li>Partner closely with media planning and buying teams to ensure accurate execution of TV schedules across national and local markets. </li>
<li>Serve as the operational liaison between media teams, broadcast partners, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless campaign execution. </li>

<p><strong>Commercial Clearance & Compliance </strong></p>

<li>Manage the clearance process for all television advertising creative, ensuring assets meet broadcast standards and compliance requirements. </li>
<li>Verify commercial lengths, technical specifications, and required documentation before assets are approved for air. </li>

<li>Ensure compliance with broadcast regulations, network standards, competitive separation rules, and political advertising requirements when applicable. </li>

<p><strong>Post-Launch Campaign Monitoring </strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Monitor campaign performance operationally after launch by reviewing as-run logs and confirming scheduled spots aired as expected. </li>
<li>Identify discrepancies including missed spots, incorrect placements, or delivery issues and coordinate makegoods with stations or networks when necessary. </li>
<li>Manage ongoing creative rotations throughout a campaign lifecycle, including updates for new trailer versions, promotional messaging, or campaign milestones. </li>
<li>Maintain accurate records of campaign delivery and ensure all broadcast assets and schedules remain up to date during active campaigns. </li>

<p><strong>Campaign Reconciliation & Reporting </strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Review and reconcile as-run reports to confirm broadcast delivery against media plans. </li>
<li>Track discrepancies and collaborate with media buying teams to resolve billing or delivery issues. </li>
<li>Compile airing confirmations and campaign documentation to support financial reconciliation and campaign reporting. </li>
<li>Maintain organized documentation of campaign logs, creative versions, and delivery confirmations. </li>
</ul>

<p><strong>What You Bring </strong></p>
<ul>
<li>4β7 years of experience in television traffic, broadcast operations, media operations, or media agency trafficking roles. </li>
<li>Theatrical entertainment experience </li>
<li>Hands-on experience working with broadcast traffic systems and platforms </li>
<li>Familiarity with commercial delivery systems including Extreme Reach, Peach, or Comcast AdDelivery. </li>
<li>Strong understanding of television advertising workflows, including traffic logs, commercial scheduling, and asset management. </li>
<li>Experience managing creative rotations and operational updates during active campaigns. </li>
<li>Advanced proficiency in Excel and comfort working with campaign tracking and reporting tools. </li>
<li>Clear communication skills and the ability to coordinate across multiple internal teams and external partners. </li>
<li>Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. </li>
<li>A high level of accountability and ownership, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously. </li>
