About the Role
We are looking for an EPC Project Manager to join our REXEL USA team. This role involves managing complex construction site-based projects, handling material management, order placement, and shipment tracking. The EPC Project Manager will be responsible for maintaining strong customer relationships and ensuring clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- →Manage all aspects of onsite high profile/complex construction projects that require a high level of product knowledge
- →Establish KPIs specific to each project, including performance tracking methods, project dashboards, and issue trackers
- →Communicate with customers, expedite OS&Ds (over, short & damaged), and resolve customer issues promptly
- →Review Purchase Orders to understand requirements and ensure terms and conditions are correct
- →Work with sales and vendors to obtain additional margin when possible
- →Coordinate with vendors, customers, and sales teams on pricing, order placement, claims, and returned goods
- →Expedite backorders to maximize fill rates and customer satisfaction
- →Collaborate with customer project teams, internal staff, and procurement teams to maximize inventory efficiency
- →Ensure all project site safety requirements and protocols are established and met
- →Determine vendors and purchase requirements to improve project profitability
- →Manage delivery schedules, product quality, information updates, and back charges
- →Seek alternative methods to deliver projects on time and within budget
- →Provide timely price quotations, requotes, and proposals
- →Develop relationships with customers, strategic suppliers, and vendors
- →Coordinate with project teams for documentation requirements such as O&M manuals, Test Reports, submittal packages, and Certificates of Compliance
- →Provide training and guidance to entry-level Project Managers
- →Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- ✓Experience in managing complex construction projects
- ✓Strong knowledge of material management, order placement, and shipment tracking
- ✓Excellent communication and relationship management skills
- ✓Ability to establish and track KPIs and performance metrics
- ✓Proficiency in reviewing and understanding Purchase Orders
