About the Role

Rexel Australia, a leading electrical wholesale and distribution company, is seeking a Regional Operations Manager. This role involves managing inventory optimization, compliance, WHS, and reporting in their region, working with branch managers to ensure system compliance and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

→Work closely with Regional Operations Managers and Branch Managers to improve inventory quality and stock turns
→Play a key role in the establishment of new branches, refurbishments, relocations, and closures
→Assist the network through quality local reporting, regional inventory management, and compliance
→Manage state customer pricing and play a key role in supplier price negotiations
→Manage and mentor the Operational Assistant
→Oversee state distribution center purchasing and distribution
→Assist Branch Managers to optimize the Pronto ERP system
→Provide support on audit/compliance issues
→Drive WHS training and monitor branch compliance
→Travel to regional branches in SA

Requirements

✓Proven branch management/operational experience with a solid track record in demonstrating commercial acumen
✓Ability to manage clear and consistent performance standards
✓Excellent communication skills for accurate reporting and collaboration
✓Track record in coaching and developing staff
✓Experience in sales and operations across a multi-site network
