About the Role
We are looking for a Technical Program Manager to join ALSO, an electric mobility company focused on creating innovative, vertically integrated small EVs. This role will be responsible for driving firmware/embedded software developments and integrating them into ALSO’s backend systems.
Key Responsibilities
- →Lead complex, multi-disciplinary software projects from start to finish
- →Work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, and manage project schedules
- →Collaborate with software and hardware engineers on high-visibility consumer-facing products
- →Drive planning and implementation of program and features with cross-functional teams
- →Develop and manage program schedules, technical issues, and resource needs
- →Manage communication of progress with stakeholders and leadership
- →Implement process improvements to streamline product development
Requirements
- ✓Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- ✓7+ years of experience in program management, engineering, or similar role
- ✓Track record of launching consumer electronics, IoT devices, or vehicles
- ✓Experience managing embedded device hardware/software releases
- ✓Proficiency with bug/task tracking software tools, especially Jira
- ✓Ability to adapt processes and be time-efficient with planning
- ✓Demonstrated proficiency in working with cross-functional teams
- ✓Highly collaborative mindset and strong communication skills
- ✓Ability to distill multivariable problems to clear decisions
