About the Role
The Technical Lead, Building Technology Integration Services is responsible for the technical delivery of Building Technology projects within RioCan. This role involves close collaboration with various teams to support and optimize building network and telecommunications infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- →Collaborate with Project Management teams to define roles, set milestones, and provide status updates
- →Execute project work plans and revise them as necessary
- →Act as the Technical Lead on Building of Things (BoT) projects
- →Create and maintain a site asset hardware database
- →Pilot new BoT technologies in a laboratory setting
- →Coordinate with vendors for installations and troubleshooting
- →Conduct on-site technical troubleshooting
- →Participate in the development of IT policies and procedures
- →Evaluate new technologies relevant to building integration services
- →Provide technical consultation and support to project management teams
- →Handle IT tasks related to new office setups and property development projects
- →Provide after-hours support for emergency technical assistance
- →Travel to site offices to fulfill job requirements
Requirements
- ✓Strong technical knowledge of building network infrastructure, telecommunications, and BoT technologies with 5+ years of experience
- ✓Excellent project management and collaboration skills
- ✓Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose complex technical issues
- ✓Experience creating and maintaining hardware asset databases
- ✓Effective communication with stakeholders, vendors, and cross-functional teams
- ✓Adaptability to evolving technologies and requirements
