About the Role
We are looking for a Principal Narrative Content Designer to join our MMO team at Riot Games. This role involves helping to prove innovative game concepts in the early stages of development and crafting resonant narrative experiences that capture the hearts of our players.
Key Responsibilities
- →Design or help design MMO narrative content
- →Responsible for rapid implementation and iterations on narrative content
- →Work collaboratively with the writing team and project leads to create a great holistic experience
- →Create high level principles and best practices for future narrative design work
- →Collaborate with our engine and tools engineering efforts to help refine our narrative tools
- →Lead small cross disciplinary teams to build environments that facilitate core gameplay and goals
- →Create and provide multiple potential designs and solutions, articulating trade-offs and risks between different options
- →Playtest the game and help push for continued improvements for existing designs and fresh prototypes
Requirements
- ✓7+ years of experience in professional Narrative Design
- ✓Experience delivering narrative experiences that combine great gameplay and storytelling
- ✓Demonstrated proficiency at content scripting in an established game engine
- ✓Experience developing template/model content
- ✓Shipped or worked on at least one AAA+ game
