About the Role
We are looking for a Staff Software Engineer to join our Developer Connections (DevCon) team at Riot Games. This role focuses on building and supporting deploy and release processes across Riot's game development ecosystem. You'll work to simplify developer experiences by creating managed foundational capabilities and centralizing common challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- →Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and support shared release processes and systems
- →Partner with Infrastructure, Database teams, and game teams to design centrally managed capabilities
- →Define requirements for automation and lifecycle management across build, deploy, and release workflows
- →Develop provisioning workflows and framework-level abstractions for database and storage resources
- →Contribute to migration tooling and adoption strategies for managed capabilities
- →Lead cross-team architectural designs related to release, orchestration, and automation
- →Collaborate with teams throughout Riot to leverage shared expertise and solutions
Requirements
- ✓6+ years of professional experience as a Software Engineer
- ✓BS in Computer Science or equivalent understanding of CS fundamentals
- ✓2+ years of experience with configuration management and infrastructure-as-code technologies
