About the Role
We are seeking an innovative Engineering Manager to lead a team of developers in building a world-class platform at Ripple. This role involves driving technical direction, team evolution, and engineering excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- →Lead diverse technology projects and a team of developers with experience in event-driven cloud native services and full-stack systems
- →Share passion for tech trends, mentor team members, and evaluate technical design
- →Collaborate with product managers to deliver robust cloud-based solutions
- →Make decisions on system design, architecture, and delivery
- →Build teams and mentor team members for career growth
- →Drive agile development and analytical methodologies
- →Improve team operations, processes, and technology choices
- →Interact with team, customers, and peers to improve cross-department processes
- →Strive for transparency and partnership between engineers and business partners
- →Engage in concept discussions and proposed technology solutions
- →Work with multi-functional project teams on solution architecture
- →Ensure work meets quality, operational, and architectural standards
- →Participate in the team’s YBIYRI model, including on-call pager rotation
Requirements
- ✓Leadership foresight and strong people management skills
- ✓Strong aptitude with software development lifecycle and engineering excellence processes
- ✓Deep software engineering experience in complex distributed systems
- ✓Strong technical skills and hands-on approach
- ✓Strong communication, coordination, and influencing skills
- ✓Deep knowledge and experience with Microsoft languages/frameworks (C#/.NET, SQL Server, Entity Framework)
- ✓Expertise with Azure (Function Apps, Service Bus, etc.) a bonus
