The Events Contracts Engineering team builds and maintains the systems that power reliable event-driven communication across Robinhood’s platform. This team focuses on defining, validating, and evolving event contracts that enable services to interact predictably and at scale, ensuring consistency and reliability across critical financial systems! As an Android Engineer, you will design and develop mobile platform capabilities that integrate with event-driven systems, enabling seamless user experiences powered by real-time data. You will collaborate closely with backend engineers, product managers, and designers to implement features, improve performance, and ensure correctness in how event data is surfaced within Android applications! This role is based in our New York, NY office, with in-person attendance expected at least 3 days per week. In addition to the base pay range listed below, this role is also eligible for bonus opportunities + equity + benefits. Base pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. The expected base pay range for this role is based on the location where the work will be performed and is aligned to one of 3 compensation zones.
