About the Role
We are looking for an Operational Data Analyst to join Robinhood's Platform Services organization. This role will support the company by enabling efficient scaling through data analysis, focusing on Fraud, Account Operations, Customer Service, and Vendor Management.
Key Responsibilities
- →Evaluate platform operations and system performance using data analysis and quantitative methods
- →Define operational metrics and build dashboards and reporting using SQL, Python, and Superset
- →Break down complex systems to identify performance drivers, constraints, and improvement opportunities
- →Investigate incidents and recurring issues by analyzing trends and contributing factors
- →Aggregate and analyze data to support incident response and regulatory inquiries
- →Develop simulation and "what-if" analyses to evaluate proposed system or process changes
- →Partner with cross-functional teams to build data and tooling for tracking key metrics
- →Ensure operational data requirements are defined for new product launches and initiatives
- →Communicate findings via concise write-ups and presentations to stakeholders
- →Support workforce planning by building forecasts tied to growth projections
Requirements
- ✓Passion for Robinhood’s products and mission to democratize finance
- ✓Ability to learn quickly and apply strong problem-solving skills
- ✓Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- ✓Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, Business, Finance, or related field
- ✓Proficiency in SQL, Python, and Looker
- ✓2–5 years of professional experience in a data analysis role
- ✓Strong written and verbal communication skills
