About the Role
Roblox is seeking a Data Scientist to join our Data Science & Analytics organization. This part-time position will focus on research and development of advanced data analytics solutions to power business and product innovations.
Key Responsibilities
- →Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to develop advanced data analytics, causal inference, experiment design and machine learning solutions
- →Conduct in-depth research to address complex data-related challenges
- →Work on projects that impact our products, services, and business strategy
- →Apply work to expedite product innovations including in-experience experiments and friend recommendations
- →Present findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders
Requirements
- ✓Possessing or pursuing a PhD degree in a quantitative field
- ✓At least 1 year of experience in causal inference, machine learning or experiment design
- ✓Proficiency in programming languages such as SQL, Python or R
- ✓Proficiency in big data query/processing languages and tools
- ✓Passion for applying scientific rigor to advance consumer products
- ✓Experience in developing production solutions is a plus
- ✓Experience with ML modeling is a plus
