About the Role
We are looking for a Principal Engineer on Content Lifecycle to lead the architecture and design of workflows on Roblox Studio and our platform. This role focuses on enabling our community to collaborate at scale by creating, sharing, and managing reusable content.
Key Responsibilities
- →Plan and deliver complex technical features E2E in our game engine and in the Roblox Studio
- →Establish the foundational architecture and technical direction for Studio
- →Work cross-functionally across teams and technology platforms
- →Lead by example and mentor engineers on best practices
- →Improve product quality through automation testing
- →Participate in building the world's best professional application for massively multiplayer game development
Requirements
- ✓At least 8+ years of experience with large scale systems in C++ codebases
- ✓Experience with multi-player game engine internals, addressing scale, performance, latency, and throughput
- ✓Experience delivering end-to-end features across multiple teams and platforms
- ✓Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar technical field
- ✓Familiarity with version control systems, 3D scene development tools, and file storage systems or network protocols
