About the Role
Join the Roblox Payments Foundation team and build the bridge between the real-world global economy and Roblox's vibrant virtual economy. This role focuses on designing, building, and scaling essential payment systems that process millions of transactions daily.
Key Responsibilities
- →Design, build, and scale systems for processing global payment transactions
- →Collaborate with product managers, designers, data scientists, and other engineering teams
- →Architect and maintain highly scalable and reliable services for payment processing
- →Develop and manage integrations with third-party payment providers and internal systems
- →Ensure payment solutions function seamlessly across all Roblox platforms
Requirements
- ✓4+ years of backend software engineering experience
- ✓Proficiency in designing, building, and maintaining robust and scalable systems
- ✓Strong problem-solving skills and experience debugging complex issues in distributed systems
- ✓Experience in managing projects and planning work across different workstreams
- ✓Strong collaboration skills and ability to mentor junior engineers
- ✓Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or similar field
- ✓Experience or interest in the payments domain is highly desirable
- ✓Experience working in frontend/mobile is a plus
