About the Role
Provides support across a broad range of technologies and liaises across multiple business areas to support incidents, problems, and requests related to endpoint equipment. Communicates effectively about technologies and explains solutions in technical and nontechnical terms.
Key Responsibilities
- →Handles routine problems without assistance
- →Provides remote support to other facilities
- →Acts as mentor to peers through knowledge sharing
- →Builds, installs, and maintains endpoints (PCs & MAC)
- →Maintains and problem-solves issues related to installed endpoints
- →Prioritizes problems based on severity and impact
- →Partners with enterprise support teams and vendors
- →Manages local LAN architecture and components
- →Coordinates through change management process
- →Assists with support of wireless networks, servers, and network devices
- →Maintains customer service standards
- →Identifies potential changes and system improvements
- →Ensures work meets service levels and policies
- →Logs all interactions in ITSM toolset
- →Maintains asset record inventory
- →Conducts routine audits of IT assets and processes
Requirements
- ✓Experience with Microsoft Active Directory
- ✓Experience with Windows and MAC systems
- ✓Knowledge of LAN architecture and components
- ✓Understanding of wireless networks and servers
- ✓Familiarity with ITSM tools
- ✓Ability to work with SCCM (a plus)
- ✓Strong problem-solving skills
- ✓Excellent communication skills
- ✓Customer service orientation
- ✓Compliance with company policies and governmental regulations
