About the Role
We are looking for an Engineering Manager for Production Engineering at Rubrik to lead and grow a high-impact team responsible for maintaining highly available, business-critical services. This role involves spearheading the technical roadmap, strategy, and execution, while serving as a senior escalation point during major incidents.
Key Responsibilities
- →Lead Production Engineering team supporting critical infrastructure and services across multi-cloud environments
- →Own operational excellence for production environments by establishing strong processes, standards, and accountability
- →Champion a metrics-driven culture of continuous improvement
- →Foster a strong collaborative mindset working closely with leadership
- →Develop team members through coaching, mentoring, and career development
- →Plan and manage on-call rotations, escalation models, and resource availability
- →Establish strong execution rigor through sprint planning, prioritization, and accountability
Requirements
- ✓12+ years of Software Development experience and 3+ years in Engineering Management roles
- ✓Experience hiring and building top talent teams
- ✓Experience delivering enterprise-quality scalable Distributed Systems
- ✓Experience leading SRE teams to drive operational excellence
- ✓Experience building and cultivating strong engineering practices and processes
- ✓Experience working with cross-geo global engineering teams
- ✓Track record of effectively communicating with stakeholders
- ✓Degree in Computer Science or equivalent field
