About the Role
Rubrik is seeking a Software Engineer to join our Engineering team. This role focuses on building the foundational layer of user interaction with Rubrik products through APIs and frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- →Work with product managers and customer solution architects to understand customer needs
- →Design and implement the next generation of Rubrik’s API ecosystem
- →Engage with Rubrik’s developers to improve API development experience
- →Spearhead API hygiene initiatives
- →Define and drive adoption of design patterns, coding standards, and software development processes
Requirements
- ✓5+ years of software engineering experience
- ✓Applied knowledge of API design principles and best practices (GraphQL, REST, OpenAPI, Swagger)
- ✓Experience in development of SDKs and APIs at enterprise scale
- ✓Consideration of security, performance, and application development in API design
