About the Role
The Rubrik Security Apps team helps customers secure their data on the cloud, SaaS, and on-prem. The Data Threat Detection team is responsible for Rubrik’s mission to secure the world’s data, operating at the intersection of massive-scale distributed systems and advanced cybersecurity.
Key Responsibilities
- →Take full ownership of projects from design to implementation, test, and deployment
- →Design, develop, and deliver the next generation Threat Monitoring and Threat Hunt System
- →Assess the reliability of the Linux system stack and create new features to enhance error handling and performance
- →Design, develop, and operationalize high-performance, scalable, reliable, and resilient system infrastructure level services
- →Diagnose and resolve problems in complex customer environments
- →Work across departments to deliver business-critical applications
Requirements
- ✓1-2+ years leading complex technical projects, setting engineering direction, and guiding teams
- ✓Expertise in building large-scale, distributed systems and infrastructure
- ✓Strong proficiency in programming languages (Go, Scala) and deep domain expertise (Cloud Security)
- ✓Exceptional communication, stakeholder influence, and problem-solving abilities
- ✓Computer Science graduate with strong problem-solving abilities
- ✓Strong fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems design
- ✓Strong background in Systems programming
- ✓Programming and debugging knowledge in C++, Java, Scala
- ✓Extensive experience with Linux kernel or equivalent, and kernel debugging
- ✓7 - 11 years of relevant experience in developing enterprise software
- ✓Strong interest in learning new technologies, solving complex problems, and challenges
- ✓Knowledge in Security, Threats, Filesystems, or Data Protection technologies is a plus
