About the Role

We are looking for a Financial Analyst to join our Topline FP&A team at Rubrik, a cloud data management platform company that had a successful IPO in 2024. This role involves driving all aspects of Topline growth and providing valuable business insights that guide decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

→Assist in preparing annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and long-term financial plans
→Maintain high-fidelity Topline Financial planning models, including ARR, Revenue, Gross Margin, and Billings
→Perform variance analysis on financial results vs forecasts / plans
→Clearly articulate the root causes of variances and trends to Topline leaders
→Collaborate with cross-functional internal teams to drive our “Land-the-Quarter” Daily Forecast analyses at quarter-end
→Support strategic initiatives and business case evaluations by modeling complex "what-if" scenarios
→Maintain organization and version control of various rolling forecasting in our financial planning tool
→Partner with Data and BI teams to identify reporting gaps and maintain real-time dashboards
→Monitor Budget vs. Actuals (BvA) for abnormalities and perform deep-dive reconciliations
→Assist in preparing Executive Quarterly Interlock & Board of Directors Reporting packages

Requirements

✓Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
✓2-4 years of experience focusing on financial analysis, strategic finance, or related roles
✓Proficient in Excel / Google Sheets & PowerPoint / Google Slides
✓Demonstrated ability to manipulate, analyze, and summarize large data sets
✓Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
✓Experience with financial planning software and ERP systems
