About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join Samsara's Route Execution team. In this role, you will build systems that power route planning, optimization, dispatch, and real-time tracking for fleets across logistics, field services, and delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- →Create web applications used by dispatchers to create, assign, and monitor routes in real time
- →Develop core services for route creation, optimization, live tracking, and reporting
- →Implement APIs and integrations with TMS/ERP systems that process millions of route events
- →Bring to life Driver-facing commercial navigation features in partnership with our mobile team
- →Champion Samsara’s cultural principles as we scale globally
Requirements
- ✓Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience
- ✓4+ years of relevant industry experience in software development
- ✓Strong programming/coding fundamentals
- ✓Experience designing and architecting large, high-scale systems
- ✓Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
