About the Role
Samsara is seeking a Staff Product Marketing Manager – Platform to serve as the principal storyteller, translating market insights and competitive differentiation into compelling narratives. This role involves building and executing content across Samsara’s platform portfolio, spanning data, automation, AI, and developer ecosystem capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- →Develop and evolve the platform story that unifies Samsara’s hardware, software, data, and AI capabilities into a cohesive value proposition.
- →Translate complex technical concepts into clear, compelling narratives for diverse audiences.
- →Partner with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing to ensure consistent messaging across go-to-market plans.
- →Lead the creation of platform pitch decks, quarterly roadmap narratives, and executive-ready content.
- →Support field teams with high-leverage assets to drive adoption and pipeline.
- →Shape, test, and occasionally present content for major events and keynotes.
- →Synthesize customer insights, competitive trends, and platform usage data into strategic positioning updates.
Requirements
- ✓7+ years of product marketing, portfolio marketing, or related experience in B2B SaaS / platform organizations.
- ✓Track record driving GTM narratives that align product roadmaps with market value and customer outcomes.
- ✓Proven ability to partner deeply with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Demand teams.
- ✓Exceptional communicator with strong reading, writing, storytelling, and executive presentation skills.
- ✓Experience building content for senior audiences and shaping narratives for large events or major launches.
- ✓Ability to think both strategically and tactically, from high-level narrative architecture to detailed execution.
- ✓Experience and balance with LLMs for content development.
