ABOUT SARIS AI We're a San Francisco & Montreal based applied AI startup that's building the future of work in the banking industry. We are tackling a $100 billion/yr problem, doubling every quarter and pushing the boundaries of what’s possible with multi-turn AI agentic systems. Our goal is to tackle the type of automation problems that require long-context reasoning, tool orchestration across legacy systems, and strict compliance loops: the ones without known answers. We’ve shipped real agents that handle real customer workflows in production. With a growing customer base and live deployments, we’re scaling up fast and looking for deeply technical builders who want to have outsized impact early. THE ROLE We’re looking for a Senior Product Designer who thrives in complexity. You’ll lead design across core product areas, turning messy workflows, legacy systems, and regulatory constraints into clear, usable, and trustworthy experiences. This is a hands-on role with real ownership and influence over product direction. You’ll work closely with the co-founders, product managers, and engineers to shape how banks and credit unions interact with AI workflow agents, often for users who are not technical, but domain experts. WHAT YOU’LL DO - Own end-to-end design for major product surfaces: discovery, flows, interaction models, and visual systems - Design interfaces for enterprise software and complex, multi-step workflows Translate banking and operations requirements into intuitive user experiences - Collaborate with PMs to define problems, scope solutions, and make trade-offs - Work closely with engineering to ensure high-quality execution - Design for trust, transparency, and control in AI-driven systems - Create and maintain design systems, patterns, and documentation as the product scales - Participate in user research, usability testing, and iterative refinement with real customers WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR - 6+ years of product design experience, with significant time in enterprise or B2B software - Proven experience designing complex systems (e.g. dashboards, workflows, admin tools, regulated products) - Ability to understand and synthesize user problems - Strong interaction design and information architecture skills - Experience working closely with engineering in fast-moving product teams - Ability to balance user needs, technical constraints, and business goals - Comfortable designing for ambiguity and evolving requirements - Strong portfolio demonstrating problem-solving depth, not just visual polish NICE TO HAVE - Experience in fintech, banking, payments, or regulated industries - Experience designing AI-powered or automation products - Familiarity with data-heavy interfaces and operational tooling - Experience contributing to or leading a design system WHY JOIN SARIS AI? - 🏦 Join us in building the future of work for the trillion-dollar banking industry using cutting edge AI technology. - ⚡Tackle ambiguous implementation challenges with no clear answers. - 💲Competitive compensation with premium benefits and equity package. - 🤝Work with a stellar team of engineers, builders, and leaders; including repeat YC founders with a successful exit (Ready Education). - 📈We already have production agents live with revenue-generating customers - 🐦 🔥Our team is backed by Tier 1 Silicone Valley VCs
