The Role:
As a Senior Product Designer focused on client experience, you'll own the end-to-end journey that defines how clients understand, engage with, and feel about their financial lives β and the advisors guiding them. You'll design the interfaces and interactions that make wealth management feel intuitive, transparent, and personal, turning complex financial data into moments of clarity and confidence.
Your work will shape how we bridge the gap between human advisory expertise and modern technology, creating a client experience that rivals the best consumer fintech while preserving the trust and depth of a true advisor relationship. This is a role for someone who's energized by the question of what wealth management should feel like for the next generation of clients β and wants to build it. This is a high-ownership, high-impact role. You will lead complex initiatives end-to-end, from discovery through execution, while collaborating closely with product, engineering, operations, and advisors. You will design across multiple touchpoints and systems, not just screens, ensuring our product reflects the full service experience behind it.
Responsibilities:
- Design complex end-to-end experiences
- Partner with Product Management and own major initiatives from research and discovery through high-fidelity execution and launch
- Design across multiple user types (advisors, clients, operations) and ensure solutions account for downstream workflows and service realities.
- Optimize for the service, not just the surface β designing with operational clarity, advisor workflows, and client communication in mind.
- Identify opportunities where AI can meaningfully enhance the product experience.
- Bring human signals into the product
- Design high-trust experiences for sensitive financial moments such as onboarding, account transfers, and money movement.
- Prioritize advisor presence, personalization, and clarity during moments of uncertainty or risk.
- Apply and evolve design patterns thoughtfully
- Leverage Savvyβs design system and established interaction patterns to create cohesive experiences.
- Extend or adapt patterns when complex workflows or AI-driven features require clearer or more innovative solutions.
- Actively incorporate AI tools into your workflow to accelerate exploration, prototyping, research synthesis, and iteration.
- Research and discovery
- Conduct user research with financial advisors and internal stakeholders using appropriate methods (i.e user interviews, surveys, card sorting, etc).
- Translate research insights into clear product recommendations and design decisions.
- Partner with product and engineering to define scope and priorities.

Must Haves:
- You have 5-7 years of experience in product design, preferably in a fast-paced B2C startup environment.
- You have experience designing complex systems or service-oriented products for consumers while working shoulder-to-shoulder with other teams
- You are an owner, have excellent problem-solving skills, and can prioritize tasks effectively with strong attention to detail.
- You pride yourself in strong interaction design, brand, and information architecture skills
- You're a skilled communicator with the ability to absorb and distill complexity and drive decision-making.
- You love backing your work with research, knowing that research pays dividends in translating insights into product decisions
- You thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and are a naturally curious, proactive self-starter who is constantly on the lookout for new opportunities and solutions.
