ROLE OVERVIEW
The Performance Marketing Specialist will lead paid media strategy and execution across multiple digital channels, with a strong focus on Meta, LinkedIn, Google Ads, and programmatic media. This role combines campaign management, client communication, reporting, and performance optimization, requiring a strong technical foundation in paid media analytics and digital reporting tools. The position also involves collaborating with internal teams and contributing strategic guidance across client accounts in a fast-paced agency environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
CAMPAIGN STRATEGY & EXECUTION
- Develop and execute paid media strategies across Meta (Facebook/Instagram), LinkedIn, programmatic buying, and other paid digital channels aligned with client goals.
- Manage campaign setup and execution in Facebook Ads Manager and LinkedIn, with ongoing performance analysis and optimization.
- Conduct A/B testing across ads, creative assets, and audience targeting to improve ROI and conversion rates.
- Support paid search and additional digital channels, including YouTube, when applicable.
ANALYTICS & REPORTING
- Pull and analyze campaign data from GA4, CM360, and other platforms using Google Looker Studio.
- Create and present biweekly and monthly reports with performance insights and optimization recommendations.
- Translate campaign data into actionable media decisions and client-facing performance narratives.
CLIENT ENGAGEMENT
- Manage client relationships through clear communication and strategic campaign delivery.
- Participate in client calls and meetings to present strategies, reporting, and optimization recommendations.
- Build trust through strong strategic insights and professional recommendations.
MEDIA BUYING & CAMPAIGN OPTIMIZATION
- Oversee media buying and budget allocation across channels to maximize efficiency and results.
- Manage paid social, paid search, programmatic buying, direct-to-publisher placements, and CTV campaigns to ensure timely execution and performance alignment.
- Implement campaign optimizations based on audience, placement, and performance analysis.
TEAM COLLABORATION & MENTORSHIP
- Collaborate with creative, operations, and media buying teams to deliver cohesive campaigns.
- Mentor junior team members in campaign management, digital strategy, and client communication.
QUALIFICATIONS
EXPERIENCE
- 3+ years of experience in digital strategy and paid media planning across paid social, paid search, and programmatic media.
- Background in Google Ads/Video/CTV/print/Out of Home is a nice-to-have.
- Strong experience with Meta Ads, Google Ads, GA4, Google Looker Studio, and CM360 reporting.
- Google paid search/Adwords knowledge.
- Experience managing campaigns across Facebook Ads and other major media platforms.
- Familiarity with Video, CTV, print, or out-of-home media is a plus.
SKILLS
- Strong analytical ability with experience deriving insights and optimizing campaigns based on performance data.
- Advanced reporting skills using Google Looker Studio and GA4.
- Solid understanding of Google paid search metrics and core performance indicators.
- High proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and data visualization.
- Strong client-facing communication skills with the ability to explain digital strategies clearly.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
