About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join a fast-growing startup transforming how brands, retailers, and employees connect through an innovative technology platform. This role focuses on designing scalable backend services, cloud infrastructure, and data pipelines that support data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- →Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems using Node.js
- →Define and manage cloud infrastructure programmatically using infrastructure-as-code tools
- →Design and implement scalable batch and event-driven data pipelines
- →Build and manage data warehouses or lakehouses with a focus on accuracy, performance, and cost efficiency
- →Leverage AWS services to build and operate serverless data pipelines
- →Collaborate closely with product, data science, and front-end teams
Requirements
- ✓5+ years of experience in software development with a strong focus on backend engineering
- ✓Proven experience building scalable data pipelines and data systems
- ✓Hands-on experience with cloud-based architectures and data platforms
- ✓Proficiency in a modern object-oriented programming language, with the ability to ramp quickly on Node.js
- ✓Strong experience with AWS services, including serverless and data-related tools
- ✓Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools
- ✓Strong understanding of data ingestion, transformation, and data warehousing concepts
- ✓Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
