This role is open to candidates based in LATAM, Africa, and Eastern Europe. Please note that as this role supports U.S.-based clients, candidates must be available to work during U.S. business hours aligned with the clientβs time zone.

After achieving strong results through paid advertising, the company is now focused on strengthening its organic social media presence to support more consistent long-term growth and deepen engagement with its community.

ROLE OVERVIEW
The Social Media Content Manager will be responsible for leading day-to-day social media execution across Instagram and Facebook, with potential expansion into additional platforms over time. This role requires a hands-on content creator who can manage execution consistently while also contributing ideas that improve content performance and reduce founder involvement in daily social media operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
CONTENT CREATION & EXECUTION
- Create and edit short-form video content, including Reels, behind-the-scenes content, and storytelling-driven posts.
- Design and produce static posts, captions, and supporting creative assets.
- Repurpose existing content into multiple formats to maximize output.
- Maintain a consistent and high-quality posting cadence across channels.
CONTENT PLANNING & SCHEDULING
- Plan and manage the content calendar across Instagram and Facebook.
- Schedule and publish content consistently.
- Ensure timely posting around product launches and key brand moments.
IDEA GENERATION & LIGHT STRATEGY
- Bring forward content ideas and suggestions based on trends and audience engagement.
- Identify high-performing content types and recommend improvements.
- Help guide content direction so the founder is not responsible for day-to-day ideation.
PERFORMANCE TRACKING
- Monitor engagement and basic content performance metrics.
- Adjust content approach based on performance trends and audience response.
COLLABORATION WITH FOUNDER
- Work closely with the founder to align on brand voice and creative direction.
- Take ownership of daily execution while incorporating feedback effectively.
- Gradually reduce the founderβs direct involvement in social media operations.
QUALIFICATIONS
EXPERIENCE
- 2β4 years of experience in social media management and/or content creation.
- Experience managing and growing branded social media accounts.
- Experience with ecommerce or product-based brands is a plus.
SKILLS
- Strong understanding of Instagram and Facebook content performance and engagement.
- Experience creating and editing short-form video content.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain a consistent posting schedule.
- Comfortable working independently and taking initiative.
- Creative and execution-focused approach to content production.
- Proactive mindset with confidence suggesting ideas and improvements.
- Reliable and consistent in output.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, founder-led environment.
- Strong storytelling ability, especially for behind-the-scenes content, is a plus.
- Familiarity with TikTok or other short-form content platforms is a plus.
- Interest in Disney or theme park culture is preferred but not required.
