They are focused on evolving social media from a content execution function into a strategic, revenue-driving channel. ROLE OVERVIEW
The Social Media Growth Lead will own the strategic direction and performance of the brandβs social media presence across key platforms. This role focuses on driving revenue, optimizing engagement funnels, and aligning content with business objectives. The Social Media Strategist / Growth Lead will partner closely with creative and execution teams to ensure content is data-informed, purposeful, and aligned with growth goals.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Social Media Strategy & Channel Direction
- Develop and own the overarching social media strategy across platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest, YouTube, LinkedIn, and other relevant channels
- Define the role of each platform within the broader marketing and revenue ecosystem
- Build structured strategic plans for campaigns, launches, product drops, and evergreen initiatives
- Ensure alignment between brand storytelling and business objectives
Revenue-Driven Social Growth
- Identify and implement strategies to turn social media into a measurable revenue channel
- Leverage tools such as ManyChat, DM automation, and conversion-focused frameworks
- Align social initiatives with product launches, promotions, and revenue goals
Content Direction & Performance Optimization
- Provide direction to internal creative and content teams on content priorities
- Analyze performance data to identify high-performing formats and messaging
- Continuously refine strategy based on engagement, conversion, and audience insights
Trend, Audience & Competitive Analysis
- Stay informed on platform trends, consumer behavior, and competitive activity
- Translate insights into actionable strategic recommendations
- Identify new opportunities and growth levers
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with creative leadership, content teams, and marketing stakeholders
- Ensure alignment across all social media initiatives
- Act as a strategic partner to leadership on the evolution of social as a growth channel
Analytics, Reporting & Iteration
- Track performance across KPIs such as engagement, traffic, conversions, and revenue contribution
- Deliver clear reporting with actionable insights
- Use data to continuously optimize and evolve strategy
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience
- 3β6+ years of experience in social media strategy, growth marketing, or digital marketing
- Experience working with consumer brands (fashion, jewelry, beauty, or lifestyle preferred)
- Proven track record of driving measurable business results through social media
Skills
- Strong understanding of multi-platform social ecosystems (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest, YouTube, LinkedIn, and emerging channels)
- Experience with conversion tools such as ManyChat and DM funnels
- Data-driven mindset with strong analytical capabilities
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Strategic and commercially minded approach with a balance of creativity and performance focus
- Proactive, resourceful, and highly accountable, with the ability to operate both strategically and collaboratively
