About the Role
We are looking for a Data Platform Engineer to join our Data & Analytics Platform team. This role involves building, evolving, and supporting the data platform used by all entities of the Group in the energy sector.
Key Responsibilities
- →Develop, update, and maintain Terraform infrastructure code for AWS and Azure
- →Ensure compliance with security standards and internal best practices
- →Administer an AWS Data Lake (S3, lifecycle policies, schema management)
- →Manage security: IAM, data governance, access controls
- →Handle network management: VPC, NSG, ACLs
- →Optimize costs, performance, and reliability
- →Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines
- →Implement Infrastructure as Code
- →Use GitHub and GitHub Actions
- →Deploy containerized applications (EKS / ECS)
- →Monitor and supervise the platform
- →Develop microservices in Python
- →Create REST APIs and event-driven architectures
- →Enhance user documentation
- →Interact with business and IT stakeholders
- →Participate actively in Agile rituals
Requirements
- ✓Minimum 2 years of experience
- ✓Strong knowledge of AWS and cloud infrastructure
- ✓Experience with Terraform and IaC
- ✓Proficiency in Python for microservices development
- ✓Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- ✓Familiarity with data lake concepts and S3
- ✓Knowledge of security practices (IAM, governance)
- ✓Experience with networking concepts (VPC, NSG, ACLs)
- ✓Ability to optimize cloud costs and performance
