About the Role

We are looking for a Data Engineer to join the FCP Data Management Team, responsible for delivering data for teams in the Financial Crime Prevention area and supporting the creation of a consistent data layer for the entire FCP.

Key Responsibilities

→Design, implement, and maintain data pipelines based on GCP infrastructure
→Collaborate with developers and architects on defining process implementation design
→Provide work estimates and timely updates on solution development progress
→Work closely with stakeholders to confirm solution details and validate requirements
→Help business understand technical capabilities, suggest solutions, and explain limitations
→Define ways of working, suggest, and implement improvements

Requirements

✓Mid/Senior-level experience in Software or Data Engineering
✓Experience in Scala and Java programming languages
✓Experience with cloud services (GCP or AWS) and infrastructure as code (Terraform)
✓Knowledge of Spark is considered an advantage
✓Experience with CI/CD and tools like Github Actions
✓Experience with Airflow is considered an advantage
✓Business and product-oriented mindset with experience working with stakeholders
✓Experience in banking is considered an advantage
✓Experience in Scrum and agile ways of working
✓Analytical mindset and ability to solve complex technical problems
✓Passion for challenges that drive personal and professional growth
✓Team player open to growth and learning
✓Fluent English
