About the Role
We are looking for a Solution Architect with Data Warehouse experience to design and implement large-scale data solutions within a highly regulated environment at SEB. This role is vital for driving the Finance, Risk and Compliance agenda in the bank.
Key Responsibilities
- βEstablish the three-layer data warehouse for financial and risk common data, integrating more than 200 source systems on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- βEnsure compliance with BCBS 239, DORA, and related regulatory traceability requirements.
- βSupport others in execution of the common data sourcing strategy within own domain.
- βProduce architectural designs for initiatives, define solution intent, assess trade-offs, and create comprehensive solution architecture documentation.
- βOversee the implementation of solution architecture, working closely with tech leads in system design and non-functional requirements.
- βEnsure proposed solutions are aligned to the domain architecture.
Requirements
- βExperience of working as a Solution Architect designing and implementing large-scale Data Warehouse solutions in cloud environments, preferably on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- βDeep understanding of Data Warehouse methodologies and architectures, including Data Vault and Dimensional data modelling, ETL processes, and data integration techniques.
- βProficiency in using ArchiMate for modeling and documentation.
- βSolid knowledge of financial and risk management processes within financial institutions.
- βExperience driving major transformations, such as cloud migration.
- βProven leadership skills to guide teams, build strong relationships, and foster collaboration.
- βExcellent oral and written communication skills to convey complex ideas effectively to both business and IT professionals.
- βFluency in English.
