About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Test Automation Engineer to join our team at SEB Kort. This role focuses on ensuring software quality and reliability through both automated and manual testing, working in the area of data enhancement.
Key Responsibilities
- →Work within a team focused on refining and improving data quality, merging incoming data flows, and generating accurate outputs for invoicing
- →Perform manual and exploratory testing to ensure comprehensive coverage
- →Design and implement automated test scripts for functional, regression, and integration testing
- →Maintain and improve existing test automation frameworks
- →Collaborate with development teams to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
- →Identify, analyze, and report defects, ensuring timely resolution
- →Promote quality standards within and across teams
Requirements
- ✓Successfully completed academic studies in IT or a comparable education
- ✓Extensive experience in quality assurance methods (ISTQB certification is an advantage)
- ✓Practical experience in test automation, agile practices, DevOps and similar methods
- ✓Proficiency in Java (senior level) and solid understanding of object-oriented programming
- ✓Hands-on experience with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber and writing scenarios in Gherkin
- ✓Familiarity with GitLab for version control and Jenkins for CI/CD pipelines
- ✓Knowledge of big data technologies including Hadoop, Kafka, and HBase
- ✓Ability to design and maintain automated test frameworks and integrate them into complex data-driven environments
- ✓Strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving
- ✓Fluency in English
